What are the major issues or problems with the XBOX 360? Are there any I should be aware of?

I ordered a refurbished xbox 360 from an ebay powerseller and I’m wondering if there could be any problems such as overheating and burning of the console.

Statisically 3 out of every 10 xbox 360 consoles will fail. In fact people have reported having to send in more than one system. The overheating problems are ridiculous.

And because yours is refurbished and from ebay, it just might have problems. I would buy a newer one because microsoft has almost fixed this problem.
But since you already have one, i would not play too much at one time, and keep it in a cool place.
